Vanilla chia seed pudding recipe
10 minutes, 515 calories, 1 serving
Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cups non-dairy milk alternative (almond, cashew, soy, ...) (~11 oz)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cups berries, any kind (frozen or fresh) (~7 oz)
- ½ cups chia seeds (~2 oz)
- 1 tsp maple syrup (real preferred) (~⅛ oz)
Instructions
- In a mason jar or a bowl, combine the chia seeds, milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup. If you’re using a jar that has a lid, close it and give the mixture a good shake and let it sit for five minutes.
- After five minutes, give the pudding another good shake or a vigorous stir to break up any clumps.
- Cover the pudding and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 1-2 hours. It can be eaten immediately but won’t have an ideal texture.
- Wash and chop berries and add them to your chia seed pudding when it’s ready.
