Berry oatmeal bites

Ingredients
- ⅓ cups berries, any kind (frozen or fresh) (~2 ¼ oz)
- 1 ½ tsp honey or agave syrup (~⅓ oz)
- ¼ cups applesauce (unsweetened) (~2 ¼ oz)
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp protein powder (~⅔ oz)
- ½ cups rolled oats (uncooked) (~1 ¾ oz)
- ¼ cups ground almonds / almond flour (~¾ oz)
- optional: ¾ tsp vanilla extract
- optional: a tiny bit of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix ground almonds with rolled oats, protein powder, baking soda and salt (a blender works well here).
- In another bowl, mix applesauce, honey or agave and vanilla. Combine both mixes.
- Pour half of the mixture into muffin tins or a baking form. Distribute the berries on top, then add the remaining mix.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until brown.
